GrantSlam Group Usage
GrantSlam Solo
Designed with PIs and their dedicated staff in mind, GrantSlam Solo is a single-user (one at a time) product, hosted on your desktop or laptop computer (or both). Built on the same dependable database foundation as the network versions of our products, GrantSlam Solo is easy to install and use.
Frequently, small work teams purchase several licenses of GrantSlam Solo and distribute working copies of proposal documents between them. GrantSlam has a variety of ways to do this, including proposal exporting and handing off of proposal by email or by portable drives. We are always surprised how many different ways people use GrantSlam to successfully create these documents.
GrantSlam Network
Designed for research groups and departments, GrantSlam Network enables up to ten users to work simultaneously on proposals residing in a shared database on desktop computers. GrantSlam's multi-user features allow everybody to work, when the work needs to get done. The built-in security of access control enables you to control who sees your proposals. GrantSlam Network uses the FileMaker Pro database to ensure the integrity of your proposal data. Collaboration is through the shared proposal database and makes departmental review easy and efficient, even for proposals in process.
