June 1 Submission Notes: More People Submit Electronically
June 9, 2005
The June 1 submission deadline saw some new players submit electronically to NIH. One GrantSlam user summed it up this way:
"I've been doing grant proposals for 10 years, and Electronic Submission is great. Cayuse support was with me all of the way, including helping diagnose and correct several problems we had for the June 1 deadline. Now that I've done one electronic submission and understand the process, I want to submit all of my grants this way." - Lisa Gelia, Valley Fever Center, University of Arizona, June 7, 2005
Let us know how your electronic submission went this time by emailing us your stories.

Cayuse participates in NCURA Region III Meeting

The Fairmont Hotel was the scene for the meetings and a good place to get together with colleagues over the intense and plentiful food of New Orleans. For those of us who took the daylight walking tour of the French Quarter, it was a heady mixture of profoundly interesting trivia and intense sounds and smells. Then there was the night life of Bourbon Street. How many bead strings did you collect?
This was our first NCURA regional meeting in a while and it was worth it.

Tampa was sunny and cool. Dancing to the music of Jimmy Buffet was fun, but the Aquarium was the most remarkable experience. Did you know that the Russian Scientists included a Botanist who was “not only a mycologist, but also a lichenologist?” If the weather in Tampa was like this year round, we would all live there.
This was our third appearance at SRA regional meetings this year.
