President & Founder
Dr. Christian Harker, the company's founder, received his Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Michigan in 1985. After completing post-doctoral training at the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Harker joined the faculty of the Division of Vascular Surgery and the Department of Physiology at Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) in Portland. He also served as Director of the Core Laboratory for the General Clinical Research Center at OHSU and held these positions until 1998 when he resigned to direct Cayuse full-time.
Key Personnel
Scott Cooley, Research Administration Support, is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University. With over 10 years of experience in Research Administration, Scott worked at Northwestern University, the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, and Evanston Hospital before coming to Cayuse.
David Copeland, Software Engineer, is a graduate of Reed College and has held many development and managerial positions, notably at Go.com, ThinkShare, and MyHealthBank. While working at Cayuse, David is also simultaneously pursuing degrees in MSCS and Law.
David Frackelton, Director of Marketing, received his undergraduate degree from Yale and his MS from the University of Oregon. He co-founded Optima Group Incorporated, a marketing communications firm and has worked as a business consultant. He has over 25 years experience in Marketing Communications and Sales.
Chris Genly, Software Architect, is a graduate of MIT and has held many development positions, notably at Intel Architecture Labs, and Multiflow.
Scott B. Lewis, Software Architect, received his undergraduate degree and Ph.D. from University of Oregon. His 35 years of experience includes Bell Labs, Tektronics Laboratories, and Intel Architecture Labs before coming to Cayuse. Scott is actively involved in the Open-source communities and is a member of the Board of Directors and a Technical Lead in the Eclipse Project (eclipse.org) and other initiatives.
Benjamin Priest, Director of Business Development, received his undergraduate education at Carlton College and his MSCS from University of Wisconsin. His over 25 years of experience includes Bell Labs, Verdix, Rational Software, and Integrated Chipware before coming to Cayuse.
Samuel B. Quiring, Chief Technical Officer, received his undergraduate education at Hope College and his MSCS from University of Wisconsin. His 35 years of experience includes Intel, Verdix, and Rational Software before coming to Cayuse.
Rhett Savage, Software Engineer, is a graduate of Reed College and has held many development positions, notably at Go.com, Quando, and Technoloft.
